The Tale of the Visiter (correctly spelled as shown here) is a folk opera created by Brian Childs over the period 1981 to 1989, and relates the true story of a dramatic rescue attempt at Robin Hood's Bay in 1881. It contains the story narrative plus 10 songs, and takes roughly an hour to perform.
